Someone else is using my email address?

Our websites do not allow an email address to be registered twice under two different names.

If you are receiving a message saying that your email address is already in use, it is one of these two reasons: 

  • You have registered on another recruitment site which is also powered by StaffCV. Use your existing account details to login to this site.  If you're not sure, try using the "Forgot my Password" function to reset your password and log in. 
  • Your partner or another family member has used the email address to register for an account.  You must have a separate email address in order to register to the website, because we do not allow two people to use the same email address.  Each application and profile that is created is treated with utmost privacy and confidentiality.  If you do not currently have an individual email address, a number of sites (including, and offer free email.
